UPDATED November 2023
I am unfortunately not able to accept new clients at this time.
I meet with clients primarily virtually, using the Doxy.me secure telehealth platform. You will receive a link via email to sign in for your appointment. If you prefer in-person meetings some or all of the time, this is possible with prior arrangement. In-person meetings are held in an office within a 20-minute drive from Columbia, MD.

Teletherapy considerations
Teletherapy provides the means to work on your mental health goals and needs from home. For some clients, health/safety considerations, transportation issues, and other obstacles make teletherapy preferable to in-person therapy. But you should be aware of some considerations with teletherapy that are not present with in-person therapy:
- First, participating in therapy remotely rather than in-person may change the way that the experience feels for you, although this does not necessarily mean you won’t benefit from it; in fact, evidence suggests that many clients do benefit from teletherapy.
- Second, because we are using technology to connect, there are privacy concerns with virtual meetings that don’t arise when we meet in person. I will do all I can on my end to ensure our meetings are secure, and I will ask you to do the same. I use the HIPAA-compliant platform doxy.me to conduct teletherapy sessions.
- Third, clients should be aware that your insurance may not reimburse you for sessions that are not conducted in person. You should check with them to see if they reimburse for teletherapy.
